Job Description:
- Sr Level Electrical Engineering position with 10 or more years experience.
- Interface directly with customers on proposals, presentations and projects.
- Comfortable working with customer requirements ranging from conceptual to well developed.
- Employ a functional knowledge of a wide variety of Engineering processes and design tools including simulation, modeling and design optimization based on wide variety of components and sensors.
- Participate as a member of a design team responsible for design and development including transition to manufacturing test.
- Work with primary subcontractors in executing approved Statement of Work and implementing approved design.
- Coordinate testing and document results in validating design requirements.
- Work with limited supervision, and take ownership of project to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals as assigned.
- Work with program managers and designers to review system design concepts and validate.
- Some travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications: Hands on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Access/Project). Work experience with design requirements on past projects. Must be self-motivated and possess good written & oral communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Must be a US citizen.
High Value Qualifications: Working knowledge of signal integrity analysis and tools- e.g. HFSS/H-Spice. Working knowledge of Multi-Chip Module design and tools- e.g. EPD/Cadence/Mentor Graphics. Working experience with DRAM and/or Flash Memory.
Required Education (including Major): Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters preferred.
